Honoring Cambria Leigh at Muddy Acres Flower Farm- Plymouth, Michigan Newborn Photographer

Family

A few weeks ago I had the honor of capturing images for some of my oldest and dearest friends as they anticipated the arrival of their 4th daughter, Cambria Leigh. This session was especially tender to me because we were honoring Cambria through photos to celebrate her life here on Earth but also her life in Eternity.

Four years ago my sweet friends lost their second daughter Emery. As you’ll see in some of these photos, we always make sure to include Emery Bear as a way to have another sweet sister represented.

When I was asked to do a Lifestyle Family Session to honor Cambria through photos, I knew that I wanted to capture the images someplace incredibly special.

I reached out to Lynsey, the owner and curator of Muddy Acres Flower Farm located in Plymouth, Michigan. Lynsey so graciously allowed us to meet on her flower farm for our session. I could not be more grateful for her generosity and the gift of honoring Cambria in place that I hope looks so much like Heaven.

As Cambria’s Mom Brittany stated, “It really did feel like we were standing in the middle of a field full of wildflowers”. What a true gift to be able to honor Cambria in such a beautiful place.

Cambria Leigh Cutler went to be with Jesus and her big sister Emery on Sunday, August 28th, 2022. She is the beloved daughter of Kyle and Brittany and the adored sister of Ainsley and Selah. She will also be deeply missed by her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and her cousin girl gang. Although our time with Cambria on this earth was not nearly enough and we are deeply grieved, we know that we do not grieve as those who have no Hope. Because of Christ’s finishing work on the cross, we can live with the confidence that someday we will be reunited with her forever in eternity.

For those wishing to make a contribution in Cambria’s memory, we have chosen the non-profit organization Abel Speaks. This amazing group has made it their mission to walk alongside families whose babies have been given a life-limiting diagnosis. They have been an invaluable resource to us during Brittany’s pregnancy.
